Is there anything I need to check other than if my PSU is fully modular when checking if compatible with the sleeved cables I want?

Solution
If you're willing to go through an inordinate amount of data, you can check the PSU pinout and connector keying to see if two models have a compatible layout. I should point out that I haven't run across that yet, and I go through these things regularly.

If you want custom sleeving, cablemod is good, as is moddiy:

If you want to make your own sleeved cables, that's an entirely different question with a much more complicated answer.

UPDATE: If you tell us what PSU and what color scheme, I can point you towards the compatible cable sets.

With the cablemods would the seasonic750W xp2s be compatible?

Cablemod will make a custom set of cables for your PSU. You have to tell them what PSU you have.

Speaking of which, you haven't mentioned what model PSU you're using.

To give you an idea of what we're talking about here, this link has the pinouts for many models of PSU. Notice that, in general, no two PSUs are the same:

Every model of power supply has its own wiring for the cables on the PSU side. Many use different connectors, but even if they look the same they might not be wired in the same way.

When looking for custom cables, you have to make sure that they are for your exact model of power supply.

If your budget allows it, I recommend some good old handmade cables. Icemodz, Mod-One, and other shops specialize in this.
Prices are a bit higher than Cablemod, but quality is far superior.
