Monitors not detecting signal, games crashing and bluescreens occuring at random

So a few months ago I built my first custom PC. The first few weeks it worked like a charm: ran everything beautifully including even games with rather high graphic loads (such as The Witcher 3) and kept relatively normal CPU and GPU temperatures throughout doing so (never higher than mid 70°C).

However since a few weeks back I've been getting more and more issues each growing more and more severe as time goes on. At first I had issues with Blizzard games randomly disconnecting me. I resolved that issue rather swiftly.
Then Blizzard games started crashing at random intervals, sometimes 10 minutes between crashes and other times multiple hours. Unsure if that's fixed at this point since I haven't played any of them since my initial tests to check whether the issue was resolved.
Then I started getting blue-screens seemingly at random: I had them when I played hefty games but also while idly browsing the internet.
Then Steam games started crashing without error messages, just throwing be back onto my desktop with no warning whatsoever.
And lastly my PC randomly goes Hellen Keller on me: any YouTube videos I was watching suddenly go quiet and my monitors go black after displaying they weren't detecting signal, the only temporary solution to this problem seems to be doing a manual reset. For the latter 3 issues I still haven't found a solution even after going through article after article on various tech sites to help me diagnose the problem.

In a last ditch effort I have decided to ask you good folks for help. I have no clue what's going on and even less of a clue how I might get around to solving it.

My specs:

Windows 10 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-7700k CPU
American Megatrends 0321 BIOS
ASUS Prime z-270 Motherboard
2 8GB Corsiar Vengeance RAM
Radeon RX 480 GPU

All hardware with the most current drivers installed.

Okay next please check the health of your hard drive. Please download HDD Sentinel (trial version is fine) and report back the results. It can be found here: http://www.hdsentinel.com/download.php . Do this and post back like I said, then also test your ram. Here is an easy to follow guide to doing so https://www.howtogeek.com/260813/how-to-test-your-computers-ram-for-problems/

Have you checked you card and case for dust? My bad on linking to...

Sounds like an unstable overclock on the card, have you updated video card firmware and lowering its clock speed? Is your driver crashing?
Run DDU (safe mode recommend option) to clear out all current drivers then install the latest driver.
You can find DDU here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
The most current Nvidia Driver is: http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/119465

Lastly have you cleaned any dust from your case and components especially the gpu?

I did the DDU thing and I haven't gotten any crashes since but what I'm getting now is random freezes where my PC goes cold and doesn't respond to anything: cursor doesn't move, videos and gifs stop playing, no sound comes out, etc. All I can do when this happens is manually reset my PC.

RAM is fine and both HDD and SSD are in perfect health.

In the meantime I've busted out the pressurized air and gotten rid of most of the visible dust off the GPU, HDD, SSD and RAM.

Since the last freeze I haven't had any issues however.

Glad to hear it, its no harm to reseat the ram and gpu to ensure a good connection. Hopefully this solves your dillema.
