Hi, I always had high temps with a corsair h100i gtx and yesterday by installing the stock cooler ( had to send to rma the h100i ) I noticed that the temps were really too high. I can't open nearly any game ( apart from the binding of isaac and sometimes rocket league ) that my cpu easly reaches 100° after just 1/2 minutes WITHOUT any type of overclock. Is it normal? Initially I thought it was just an unlucky cpu but now I think the temps are just too bad, am I right?
The rest of the configuration is:
CM HAF X ( so of course the airflow is great, with 5 fans in the correct positions )
Asus Z170 pro gaming
gtx 980ti G1 Gaming sli ( yes, I already tried to use a single gpu only )
Samsung 850 evo
WD Black
