PC Keeps Freezing

I just recently installed Windows 10 on an ssd. I've run in to a few errors I've never come across before. 1) my pc keeps freezing randomly forcing me to turn the switch to off on my psu. 2) I've gotten two stop codes, one is: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and the other is ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY. This is a previous build I had as I sold my newest build. Reinstalled the ssd and installed windows 10. The only new parts I put in is slight faster 8gb ram, a new psu, and a new cpu cooler.

Thanks for the reply. I'll try that now. However I have found that I think my CPU is overheating. I've already reapplied thermal paste so I think it might be shitting the bed. It reaches temps of 70c when doing almost nothing like downloading a game or running disk cleanup especially. I also ran a stress test with prime95 and 3-4 workers failed almost immediately and then I got the BSOD. I'm not sure how my CPU could have crapped out like this though from just sitting for maybe 3 months.

See if the heatsink on the CPU is actually getting hot to the touch. I suspect that it is not making good contact with the CPU. That could be caused by too little(or too much!) thermal paste, or not being tightened properly, or even interference from other components(ram?).

I forgot to mention that at idle, with nothing running at all, it stays between 20c-45c.

Yes it does not too bad though.

whatever happened to your freezing issue?

Oh it's still happening haha

OK, I still suspect the new ram as the cause of the freezes. If it is not seated correctly, it can cause issues. One such issue is not allowing the CPU cooler to seat properly, which can be the cause of your overheating issue.

It's definitely not the issue. I just reapplied thermal paste for the 4th time and I removed and replaced the ram and they are in the correct dimm slots.
