Building a gift pc for gf, any recomment?

Case: Fractal Design- Define R5w/Window
CPU: I7-7700k with H100i cooler
Motherboard: Asus-STRIX Z270-E ( Dont really know which motherboard is best for her, she would like to have wifi in the mortherboard)

Storage: Intel-600p 512gb M.2

Memory: G.Skill- Trident Z RGB 16gb ( 2 X 8 gb ) DDR4-3200

Video Card: MSI - GTX1080 8gb Duke OC ( On sale for $ 444 )

Power Supply: EVGA- SuperNova NEX 650W 80+ Gold


Will have a 2TB HDD for her too

This is the first time i build, not sure which motherboard is better
and also the memory & Power Supply

From what I read, it doesn't look like you're going to overclock your CPU, to keep the PC silent.

In that case, I'd consider getting a B250/H270 mainboard instead, should be cheaper. I'd also note that a silent air cooler would make more sense if you won't overclock, the H100i won't be particularly more quiet and just costs more for the higher cooling performance you're not gonna need.

The R5 is a solid case, can't do anything wrong with that.

for the memory i want to have it with colours, that's why i am using the RGB one

I think he selected that board because of both Aesthetics and i quote "She would like WiFi in the Motherboard".

Anyway it's a good looking build, definitely a lucky GF haha. Only thing i can really add is what other Power Supplies are available around the price? The EVGA NEX isn't a bad series but it's the fairly old lineup, try find the newer SuperNOVA G2 or G3 i wouldn't expect them to be much more if any. Hope this helps :)
