Code:
im on a really tight budget and my friend gifted me a zotac 1060 mini and i have 2 generic (non branded) PSU, and non of them have a 6 pin connector. So i was wondering which PSU should i use and if a 2x Molex to 6 pin adapter cause any problems.I only have 2$ with me, so should i wait and save for new psu?or use with one of these psu?(the psu brands are cheval and space, never heard of them)
Edit: I decided to buy a corsair vs450, will that be good?

Images aren't working but if they are generic units it almost doesn't matter, don't use either of them. You'll need to buy a proper psu with a decent build quality and the appropriate connections. If you're lucky the psu will just shutdown when it inevitably fails but with generic units thetes no guarantees it could fry that new gpu, any other part or even the entire system. Its also not unheard of for them to catch fire.

Well the image links are work for me now and it looks like I was right both are complete garbage/firehazards. Even if build quality isn't taken into account neither has a big enough 12v rail to handle a 1060. The 1st one only has a 14a 12v rail(thats only 168w) and the 2nd only has 22a(264w).

A good 430-450W unit is usually good for a system with a GTX 1060 but depending on the full system specs you may need more.

So I finally decided to get a PSU, the corsair VS450 (which is perfect for my budget as it is cheap in my region), within the next 4 weeks, so should i use any of the current PSUs i have with a molex to 6pin adapter as a temporary fix? Or is it really that bad of an idea?
