so my laptop got really slow lately, i am planning to get 1 ssd for booting, but i just saw a new product in my country online store which is a seagate sshd for like $75.2 here, and the ssd that i planned to get is intel 530 m.2 ssd which cost like $57.5. which one do you think more worth for me to get? i personally will use my laptop for long terms and i need pretty big storage, but even tho if i use a ssd, i can still swap the dvd reader with a drive enclosure

I am assuming that $80 is the budget ceiling. my suggestion is this.

this is a smallish 64GB SSD (M.2 slot but sata-III) that comes with software that will basically allow you to plug this in, install software and now the HDD and the SSD are working together, essentially you are making your own SSHD. this drive comes with the software that makes this work and its the real secret sauce so to speak. the most often used data on your already running and setup hard drive will be cached to the SSD as needed no need to re-install windows. if you change your...

my laptop is acer e5-475g, it has a toshiba 5400 rpm 1tb hard drive, i know i can put a ssd m.2 but i only kinda dizzy to choose sshd or ssd, sshd have big capacity, pretty fast but not as fast as ssd, and ssd fast but relatively expensive with small capacity, which makes me kinda hard to choose though

I am a huge fan of SSD caching, I have been a dataplex user since the Crucial Adrenaline came out, after 8 years as a cache drive crystaldisk estimates the drive at 70% so still running strong.
