So my little brother decided to get himself a PC. He chose this one on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-FAST-Quad-Core-Gaming-PC-BloodStone-Desktop-Computer-16GB-GTX-1050ti-4GB-/192176453517?var=&hash=item2cbe9bf78d:m:miecyAu6MuOgy7PAaygZ-gQ
(i7 2600 gtx 1050ti 16gb ram)
I on the other hand wanted him to buy parts instead and build it, since I prefer doing that than buying pre-build PC's, since they come with crap PSU, and buying your own parts can be cheaper and better.
So he needs a new PC from scratch. Budget is around £600 give or take £~50.
No peripherals needed, nor a monitor.

Kelsus IT only use Tier 1 Motherboards. Intel/Dell/HP/Lenovo Branded .
That a bit of a worry . I thought gigabyte asus msi were all the best boards . I wouldn't touch a dell board if it had a big-mac attached. And i love big-macs.

Thanks for the build. I might for it. But , could you change the RAM so that it is available for prime delivery? I really would want all the parts to be from Amazon prime if possible, even if I have to pay a bit more.
What about these? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0123ZBPDA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
I also found this motherboard that is cheaper. Is it the same one though? It is 1511 socket and ddr4.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-H110M-S2H-Motherboard-Socket-Express/dp/B01649KMZS/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1495729048&sr=1-1&keywords=socket+1151+motherboard

Also what about AMD's setup, I heard their latest CPU's were fairly decent, and I'm sure many agree that AMD has always been the king when it comes to budget builds like this one.
And is there any website that builds the selected parts for you? Since my brother want's it pre-build, and I cba to talk him out of it.

I also just discovered this 'promotion'
https://www.scan.co.uk/shops/asus/cashback/promotion/q2-17
Could that possibly be applied to a £600 system? Or are those motherboards and CPU's alone like 500?

the issue with having a store build it for you is that they will most likely charge you at least £50+ , which then means you're looking at less performance if that comes out of your budget .

I see that you went for a bit more expensive MOBO, does that mean it will be fit for overclocking? I looked up the rough benchmarks between the i5-7500 and Ryzen 5 1500x, they seem hand to hand, but the Ryzen wasn't overclocked, while it can be. Also is the GPU worse than the one mentioned above? 580X, which is apparently due to release tomorrow.

you can overclock with this motherboard yes. the i5 7500 cannot be overclocked even if bought a $500 Z270 motherboard because the cpu is locked in terms of being able to alter the multiplier .

i have no information on any 580x being released at any point (unless this is some vega gpu that i haven't been madea aware of) . in terms of the rx 570 and 580 there isn't a great difference between the two. i would take the rx 580 over the rx 570 but i was attempting to stay within budget . in some parts of the world they are priced at the same point but in this case £30 is a big difference in terms of budget /performance ratio.

Actually that mobo is one of the best for the B350 chipset.
Stronger VRMs.

The reason i gave you an Intel build is because while Ryzen has been fantastic in all aspects, in pure gaming benches it still does lack a bit due to lower IPC and clock speeds. Remember, clocks speeds are not equivalent between the two.

Ah, but Ryzen can be OC'ed, although that is not hugely my area of expertise.

Does anyone know when the rx 580 comes out in UK? None of the websites have it in stock yet for some reason. Is there maybe any alternative?

it is available at every major retailer in the uk. novatech aria scan overclockers to name just a few . other stores are also available .

never heard of a reason not to go with an xfx card personally .. if you are unsure on that specific card then:-

check other webistes like overclockers.co.uk

any ddr4 2400mhz will be fine. it can be higher speed if it is cheaper ie 2666 3000 3200 but it will only run @ 2400mhz as that is the limit for b250 motherboards. ram speed is not important when it comes to current intel cpus .

Dont get confused. The Intel build has a B250 board, the Ryzen build has a B350 board. They are not cross compatible. If you choose the Ryzen build, dont get the B250 board. RAM is cross compatible though.
