Is BIOS fast boot known to cause PC rebooting problems? (MSI Z97 GAMING 5 MOBO)

I've had a problem where my PC will power on for a few moments, then after getting passed the windows login screen will shut down and reboot automatically, then it boots back up and I can use it fine, and I am pretty sure the culprit is windows fast startup since that seems to cause this issue for many others. I'd also like to ask, does BIOS fast boot cause this same problem?

Solution
If the problem occurs after the login then the system is already booted and fast boot is completely out of the equation. The only thing fast boot (the one set in BIOS) does is skip such things as the memory and the more extensive low level hardware checks. Your problems lie elsewhere.

OK, then it's probably just windows fast startup since that's a problem related to kernel-power 41. Just wanted to see if maybe I should disable both instead of just windows fast startup.
