So I have an Intel DQ35JO motherboard, and I recently upgraded my Core 2 Duo e8400 to a Core 2 Quad q9550...the installation process went very smoothly, and I'm 100% positive that I did everything correctly...However, once I went back into the BIOS after installing the new CPU, it popped up as a Genuine Intel Processor or something along the lines of that...I exited the BIOS and tried to see if I could even get into Windows 10 and I couldn't. It just stayed at the starting screen with the blue windows 10 logo (not spinning white dot wheel at the bottom of the screen). What do I need to do in order for windows to boot up fully and for the BIOS to recognize my new CPU?

Question from brenbglenn : "CPU is showing up as "Genuine Intel Processor" in BIOS"

The q9550 is a genuine intel cpu.
Latest bios v.1143 . This board wasn't designed for windows 10 but people have it working using simular cpu with windows 10.
