EVGA GTX 1050 TI vs Gigabyte GTX 1050 TI

Hi guys,

Noob question here (1st time building a computer). Is there a difference between the two cards besides the manufacturers? In the build I was suggested I was told to buy the EVGA card, but I found the Gigabyte one to be cheaper on the ebay Newegg store with the addition of their flash discount promo code.

Should I just get the Gigabyte one?

Each company offers a range of models of the same card, trying to fulfill the needs of different types of customers. That Gigabyte is clocked higher, and it's Gigabytes's one current 1050 Ti with a single fan, so it fills the need of a someone who needs a small card(but not low profile). EVGA cards go from the 'Gaming' model to 'SC' to 'SSC' to 'FTW', least expensive to most expensive.

So I think that Gigabyte is a better deal. EVGA does have a top notch reputation, so if you have a brand preference then you'd probably go with them. That's most likely why EVGA's card was suggested to you.
