Any suggestions on a "Poor Mans Blade"?

The gigabyte aero 14 is really tempting cuz of the weight and screen, but it gets really hot and the ssd isn't NVME. I can't afford 3000$ for a Razer blade. I can barely swing the 1700 for the aero but is there anything better? It needs an i7 and a gtx 1060. Any suggestions? Anything under 1700?

I like the aorus one. But it's open box tho :/ is there anywhere i can get it for that price but new? With the manufacturer warranty and stuff?

I'm interested in the gigabyte aero 14 but it gets really hot and the ssd isn't NVME. There's also the msi gs 63vr but the battery life isn't up to par with what I need. Any help? I need a gtx 1060 and an i7 6700hq/7700hq and the Razer blade is perfect except for the HEFTY price tag. I need something under 1700$ and is portable for college and stuff. Please help
