You would never catch me putting that wireless card into a $1,000 PC. If you must go wireless, at least get something decent.

Lastly, Any PC that is over $1,000 should have 16GB of ram. 8GB is basically standard on cheep PCs now. Your system will consume over 8GB of ram if you feed it enough.

Good build for the price (Australia). The only thing I'd nitpick is going with 2x4gb RAM as it will work better in dual channel over a single 8gb stick.

well, $1000 in Australia doesn't go as far as it would in the US, bith due to a weaker dollar and larger import costs.

More RAM, similar if not better CPU, Cheaper but equally as nice 1070, lower wattage PSU, and a different SSD. Seeing as the Australian dollar is in the tank, It might be a good idea to look in the used market for everything but the PSU and HDD. GL with the build!
