I have a 1TB HDD and a 64 GB SSD, I'm replacing my CPU/Motherboard soon and I know I'll have to use a new HDD (which I have) and reinstall windows. But do I have to do anything to the SSD? could I just plug it up and it will be just detected after the install? or does the same rules apply to that like the main HDD, that there are lil'bits of information that would have conflict/not work..etc

there is only 1 thing on there and that is World of Wacraft btw

Thank you for your assistance!

Solution
if the SSD had no OS on it, meaning it is just a storage drive, plugging it in will do the job. you may need to import a foreign disk in disk manager but it should be fine.

That means you right click on the disk and select to import the foreign disk? and it will then recognize it?

awesome ! thanks for the help.
