So here's my issue: I have an older monitor, but its still fairly recent. It used to work just fine. I then noticed when I hit the power button to turn it on, it would flash static, then black screen. It would take a few tries to get it to stay on, but after it did, it worked just fine. Now it has progressed to the point where it will not turn on no matter how much I try it. Just a flash of static.
I have it plugged into my computer, and my computer recognizes it. It will even let me move my mouse over to it, but there is no display.
In all fairness, this monitor has seen some time and abuse, but I still have hope. I have determined that it is not the computer, or the GPU, and it is the monitor's fault.
I don't expect that I can do much, but are there any suggestions for things I could try?
