GTX 1050ti OC Low Profile 4gb compatibility

I have a Dell 9010 OptiPlex with the standard 240 watt PSU. Is this enough to power the GTX 1050 ti oc low profile 4gb card?

The difference would be insignificant if it did. My GTX 1050 Ti has never peaked at more than 70W as per HwInfo64. And that was running Doom 2016 at 1080p, Ultra, Vulkan API, 16x AF, 8x AA, other settings maxed. Btw, it averaged 57-80 fps with a i5-2400.

70W is a bit much for the PCIe x16 buss to handle, but it is only momentarily. I'm sure I am taking the board beyond its capacity, but I do so at my own risk.

Is your Optiplex the SFF too? I assume it is if you are looking at low profile cards.

Technically, no. Not sufficeint.
But... I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF with the same 240W (17amp +12v rail) running my Zotac GTX 1050 Ti L-P card https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-low-profile
... just fine. Had it maxed out gaming w/o any issues. Of course, don't expect the PSU to live an exceptionally long life being under heavy load for extended periods of time. Fortunately from my experience, I've found that Dell uses good quality PSUs and under rates them.

Thanks for the info, I looked up the Zotac GTX 1050 Ti and that also shows as requiring a 300W PSU. Does it consume less power than the Gigabyte GTX TI OC?
