I recently started my PC and out of nowhere got this message, after a while of messing about with my pc i fixed it by changing what power cable led to my main hard drive, i just want to know if this was a random thing due to the power or if my hard drive is failing. I have had this hard drive for a while and never had anything like this happen.

Solution
If You Solved it by changing the power cable than its not your hard drive. But If you can hear the sound of tick-tick from your hard drive than its failing.
if your hard drive is extremely hot, then its failing. You know always have one extra hard drive on hand so you can transfer your data to that hard drive.
