Hi Friends,

My PC Specs are as below:
APU 10-6800k
8 gb RAM
GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dedicated Graphic Card.

I have one very stupid question.
I always believed that playing games at full resolution kills the PC slowly.

The reason behind my belief is, that if we over strain human body, it also starts to deteriorate. But our body can grow extra muscles and resistance to overcome that stain.

Now what happens in the case of the Computer is that it is a machine. it cannot grow anything extra. So taking it to its limit all the time may kill the computer eventually. Am I right?

Another reason for my belief is that in countries like India not every gamer has Air Conditioner to keep his PC Extra Cool.

Another Thing, I have a friend, He had a knack for playing games at full resolution with everything turned to ultra. His Graphic Card fried in just 2 years. Where My old graphic card, which was Radeon HD 4350 still works if I want to use it. Because I always kept it in its limits.

What do you say? Am I right?

Solution
No, that dosent kill or degrade the computer at all.
They are designed to run up to maximum loads, that's why they have a maximum. Unlike humans they limit themselves (Either lower clock speeds to avoid damage, or shutdown).
