Heyo, I am just now learning how to build my own pc, I just wanted to know if all the fans I plug into the motherboard will show up in the cam software, or if I have to get a fan controller or something. I honestly have no idea how it works, plz help!

Solution
No need to get a fan controller. All fans plugged into your motherboard will be detected by the NZXT CAM software (but mind you, the software may be a bit buggy). The software will detect all components you have plugged into your motherboard - CPU, GPU, HDD, SSD, RAM, and Fans. It shows you the current state of such components such as temperature, load, rpm, voltage, capacity, etc.

If you have some specific NZXT components (such as the Kraken CPU Cooler, Aer RGB Fans, and Hue+ Lighting Kits) installed that are supported by the CAM software, you can configure such components as speed, lighting, colors, etc.

CAM Software has also expanded to feature monitoring of gameplay FPS as well as overclocking GPU - but again, a bit buggy...

This is how the interface looks like when running it:

If you have the NZXT Grid+ fan controller/hub, the CAM Software can also configure your fan speeds (of the fans connected to that controller)

Otherwise, if you don't have the NZXT Grid+ fan controller/hub, the CAM will only show the speed at which the fans are running at that point in time (monitor only).
