This is more of a general question but also about the game The Surge. I have a GTX 1080 ftw2 (my 1080ti FTW3 comes Friday) with 32 gb DDR4 ram, i7 6700k, Asus ROG Maximus 9, with the game on a 500gb Samsung 850 Evo and my fps is kinda all over the place. Going from 70~ to 120+ fps often. No idea why and in a Medbay room it hovers at 64-68 fps. I dont OC anything and im running the game at all max settings. Not sure what the issue is but the FPS is pretty jumpy. The only thing I could think is that my "monitor" currently is a TV, a 4k Samsung KS8000 and when i run the game im running it at 1920x1080 not sure but I feel like thats the cause idk. Also the game runs all around better at 1440p than at 1080p. Never drops below 80fps no matter where I am so idk. Please help.
