Hi,
I have the opportunity to get either card for real cheap. Unfortunately, other cards are not available to me.

There are plenty of review of the founders edition (i.e reference card) whic seem a great card overall with slightly lower frequency and a bit louder than aftermarket cards.

However, I cannot find any reviews of the Inno 3D with 2 fans. Any opinions?

Thanks,

David

From what I know, founder's are made by Nvidia. You can order them from the official website. As for the Asus and EVGA that you mentioned, they make almost the same as founder's to sell at a lower price.
Founder's are said to have better silicon but that doesn't mean that other companies will have necessarily bad. But you won't be able to put the good silicon to good use if you have a blower style cooler. It will get too hot. Putting a water cooling solution on founder's is something that will help but I would prefer a better air cooling from the start than modifying my card.

I would go for the Inno3D. Although the Founder's Edition cards aren't bad, the Inno3D will probably achieve better temps.

Thanks for the input, but ( and I may be playing the devil's advocate here) wouldn't it be likely that the NVidia reference cards are more durable, being made by the very same chipset company?

Actually, most Founders Edition cards are made by 3rd party companies like ASUS and EVGA.

I'm not sure if this is true where you live, because I live in the netherlands and there isn't really anything of NVidia or AMD here.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I thought the 3rd party Founders Editions were just made by the 3rd party company. Thanks for clearing that up.
