Hello, i have trouble deciding between two cards:

Zotac GTX1060 Mini 6GB [2+3 years warranty]: INR 22300
or
MIS GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OC [3 years warranty]: INR 24599

Basically I had also looked at
Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 AMP!
[2+3years warranty]: INR 24600

I had focus on the mini because of its smaller price + so many display inputs. (For monitor addition in the future as also maybe 4K/8K down the line).

I am keeping the GPU for 3+ years.
Which one would you suggest?

Solution
I would go for the MSI 1060 Armor or the AMP! The coolers on them are much better than the mini, they run cooler and quieter.

MSI 1060 Armor would be my choice.

The monitor outputs should be pretty much the same on all of the 1060.

I was actually reading an article about the 1060 3gb version vs the 1060 6gb version this morning..And the vram is an obvious factor on games with higher textures etc..About a 15-10% improvement..But in your case it's both 6gb versions..I think the msi will have better cooling which is always something to keep in mind..They have the same Base/Boost clock speeds although I dont see on the Zotac website that it has 3 different operating modes(OC/gaming/Silent) like the MSI card has..Aslo look at who has the best Customer Support in your Region..I prefer Gigabyte to be honest

FYI, one of the main reasons that the 1060 6gb is faster than the 3gb is more to do with the 6gb version having more cuda cores.

You mention 4k/8k in the future. I hope that you understand that 1060 is not considered a 4k GPU, far less 8K. Even a 1080 struggles at 4k.

Just buy the cheapest mate, performance wise you won't see much of a difference. If you have decent air flow in your case you are good to go.

Depends on what you are doing. For normal desktop work the 1060 will do the job fine at 4k.

Eh? Having a 4k screen is most useful for desktop work due to the extra desktop space, its also great for working with high resolution photos for photo editors and high resolution videos for video editors.

Ok... but people use their computers for more than one purpose. If you are wanting to game at 1080p or 1440p then the 1060 6gb is a much better option, but you may use a 4k screen also for desktop work.

I was disagreeing with "You mention 4k/8k in the future. I hope that you understand that 1060 is not considered a 4k GPU, far less 8K. Even a 1080 struggles at 4k. "
Because that is only relevant for gaming.
