Hi,

I have an ASUS Gryphon Z87 motherboard with a software called Thermal Radar 2 installed from ASUS. All the temps seems to be in line in the software but it's one that I'm concerned about. The software tells med that somethng called 'Vcore (back)' is about 10c warmer than the CPU and the Vcore. When gaming it's about 45c. Can anyone tell me what the temp should be on the Vcore back? And what is this Vcore (back)? It seems to be in the far upper left corer of the mobo. I haven't overclocked anything in the computer.

/Jonas

The Vcore back is the VRMs, they regulate and supply the voltage to the CPU, and yes, expect them to be higher, they are tiny little chips that handle a hell of a lot of voltage, they will be hidden under the heatsinks around the CPU socket area, generally they can handle temps upto 132oC but normally your system will shut down at 125oC so you are far from the limits.
