the icon is a black circle with a white inside on my galaxy s5.....is somewhat of a toolbox app is what it expands to and it looks similar to an android toolbox icon without the three dots. Wish I could attach my screenshots

you can upload screenshots to imgur and share here, might make it easier for all of us to find it :)

are you running an icon pack as that may change shape of icons appearance making it more fun to find?

you can look in the application list in settings, it shows all installed, it should show you its name there. I had an S5 for 2 years, I should remember its menus... have S7 now, so easy to forget.

the ability to float like that isn't unique, can you put it anywhere on screen or does it stay in one place? ts a floating icon dock

is it this one?

Well you got closer than I did.......it seems to access the same app but with different initiator......
The app you refer to comes from "zentertain"......I will have to research them and contact them to see what the connection is and if they can lend a hand in removing this software.....
You've been a tremendous help......tk u........

Not sure whether this unknown app is born from it but Supo Cleaner's settings turning off an option "iSwipe" controls this icon in that setting to off hides or stops this strange icon...only thing though, something initializes the switch and the icon appears once more on the screen.......not on a restart but eventually like five or so hours but not consistently.......better than before.......haven't uninstalled Supo yet since I don't want to ruin the enjoyment of it not being there...........

Well, I was doing some reading and this article made some sense in that Clean Master and all of its cousins do nothing but use up processing...........also talks about how Android does a bit of housekeeping itself, so I uninstalled both Supo Cleaner and Security to see how much of an effect this has......haven't seen that aforementioned icon since either.......

most clean up apps are pretty useless now. Android getting better at tidying up after itself, My S7 running Android version 7 has an app built in that does all that under the heading device maintenance. I used to use apps that managed the power settings but Android got better at managing that as well.
