Hello guys, I'm new here. Some days ago I bought all the components for my new PC and I built it myself. So far so good. The problem is that when I want to turn it on, it actually works, but the screen won't show up. I know this may have to do with the RAM, but there might be more problems involved. First, when I turn it on, the case won't show me the red green LED (So I assume I just mixed up the wires). Secondly, the RAM modules are hard to put. I can't put them correctly (I can see that its sides are not perfectly aligned). With the graphics card it happens the same. I tried removing the graphics card but nothing. So if only I could put the RAM modules in the right way... Then it may fully work.

I would need your help. What could I do? And ia there any problems that the components stay there for a while without working? I mean if I just leave them in the case for a while.

The Mobo is a Gigabyte H110

Greetings from Argentina! Thank you!

Okay, so your board is one of those that have ram lock only from one side. They are a bit more tricky then those with locks at both ends. One the stick is in the slot, you have to push down first lower end (the one without lock) until it is fully in, then you push upper end until lock closes itself.
First, list all your components for compatibility check.
If RAM sticks are not perfectly installed, it will just not work anyway. Try googling some youtube videos if you have problem installing them.
There will be no problems with components staying inside case without working.

So the components are:

Mobo Gigabyte H110M-S2H
2 x 4 Gb RAM
Zotac GTX 1050 2 Gb
PSU XFX 600 W 80+
Intel Core I5 6400
1 TB Hard Disc Western Digital

Thanks for replying! I have been checking videos on YouTube on how to put the RAM correctly on the same mobo and it seems really easy but I am an idiot or I just have a lack of experience...

Yeah! It has a lock just from one side and at first it looked strange, because all the videos I'd seen had them on both sides. Okey so tomorrow I will try that what you say and tell you! Thank you for the tip!
