Hey
I have a problem
1 month ago I bought a msi gtx 1050ti oc to upgrade from my 750 ti.
Since then every game I play that pushes the gpu is just stuttering all the time and when it does it makes some kind of a robotic sound.
I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and can help me.
I want to mention that I have a hp prebuilt pc
With an i7 2600 and 8 gbs of ram.
I think it might be because of the psu as it has only about 320 W but I want to see
Your opinions.
Also my motherboard it's a little strange.
Instead of a 24 power connector it has a 6 pin power connector.
I want to mention that not the real video card does the strange sound.
When it is stuttering I can hear that sound coming from the game.

Solution
Could be a motherboard issue, could be a power supply issue, could be the CPU is not good enough to run the games you want at the settings you want.
OEM systems have issues with add-on video cards and also the HP power supply may not be quite good enough. Most likely the motherboard or combination of both, maybe not enough power to the PCIe slot to run the card well.

So the best solution would be to buy a "new" 1155 mobo and a psu ?
I don't think it's the cpu .
Even if it's an older i7 I think it can still run some games such as fallout 4 and stuff.

What is your budget? If you don't want to spend much , I recommend these PSU's : https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-BRONZE-Supply-Warranty-100-B1-0500-KR/dp/B01N3OAFHD/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495745462&sr=8-1&keywords=evga%2Bbronze%2B500w&th=1 - EVGA 500w Bronze or https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-CX550-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B01MRW2K79/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1495745532&sr=8-9&keywords=500w+power+supply - Corsair 500w bronze , in terms of motherboard take the cheapest 1155 if you don't have the k version of cpu.

Solution
Can you run a program like Speccy to get more specific information about your computer? Just saying that is an HP pre-built and has an i7 2600 is not enough to offer any real help.

In general, if your computer can use the 750 Ti it should be able to handle the 1050 Ti, unless you got a model of 1050 Ti that requires a pci-ex connector.
