I've just recently bought a computer, and I've been able to install all the components (RAM, power supply, dvd drive, hard drive etc.) into their proper location. And after watching 2 youtube videos and looking for other thread help on this matter, I've still been lost on the wiring. When I say wiring, I mean the motherboard setup of wires, what connects to where, etc. The instructions book I have is apparently poorly translated from Taiwanese, either that or I'm just an idiot :p

But yeah, I'm in need of some help on where to find how-to's specific to my motherboard, due to me not understanding this port table of contents. Here's what I have:

CPU - Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard - MSI B250M MORTAR ARCTIC Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory - Team Dark 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage - Toshiba 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Case - BitFenix Nova ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply - SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive - Memorex 98240 DVD/CD Writer
Case Fan - ARCTIC F12 PWM 74.0 CFM 120mm Fan

MSI provides well written and in-depth manual with all their MoBos to help you install your components.

Here's yours: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B250M-MORTAR-ARCTIC.html#down-manual
Select the English language one (3.53MB), download it, unpack it and start reading.

Page 6 is case front I/O connections. Page 8 is SATA drive connections (ODD, HDD, SSD). Page 9 is GPU connections. Page 30 to 34 is more in-depth about MoBo connections.

Wires that connect to your MoBo are:
1x 4/8-pin (to power CPU)
1x 24-pin (to power MoBo)
2x SATA (one for HDD, another for ODD)
1x front I/O connector (HDD led, reset button, power button etc)
1x front I/O audio connector (for mic and headphone jacks)
1x USB 3.0 (case front panel blue USB...

1x USB 2.0 (case front panel black USB slot)
1x 4-pin CPU cooler fan
1x 4-pin fan (Arctic F12 PWM)
1x 3-pin fan (stock 120mm fan that comes with the case)

All those above are covered in MoBo manual if you read it carefully. Oh, case fans go to SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2 header and CPU fan goes to CPU_FAN1 header.
