so I am on a budget and I was wondering should I get the 1500x or 1400
If I want to get the 1500x I would need to cheap out on the psu , gpu and case
If i want to get the 1400 I would have all premium high quality parts
I think I should get the 1400
please guys share your opinion!

Sorry its a bot over budget, but the site had a lousy selection of cases and I didn't want to get a cheaply built case.
I don't really know what you mean by "premium" so it's hard to say.

The 1500x is hyperthreaded so will last you better in the long run (and will benefit you now depending on the game).

There's also the matter of the graphics card.

*Frankly, it's better to just give a BUDGET, tell us EXACTLY what it's for (Windows 10? GPU?) and allow some of who are good at balancing PC's to create something for you.

It may be useful to know what you have already in case the upgrade is hard to justify, or perhaps the money would be better spend on just a graphics card.

OTHER:
It's worth noting that RYZEN likes fast DDR4 memory. Cheaping out on that (i.e. less than 3200MHz or so in dual channel) will reduce performance.

I probably wouldn't get either of them if you have to skimp on the other parts. If gaming is your priority the G4560 or i3 7100 offer much better value. You you list the entire build you plan on getting and the budget for it so what I may better assist you?

thank you

1x8GB is a really, really bad idea for RYZEN.

Look up the reviews. It needs high-speed memory. Ideally 3000MHz in Dual Channel. That single stick is effectively 1333MHz in comparison.

Look for a 2x4GB 3000MHz kit (and go to the motherboard site to look at the RECOMMENDED memory kits using the exact model numbers. CORSAIR seems to be better supported than most)

*you'll then want a 4-slot memory capable motherboard, not 2-slot or else you can't upgrade to 16GB later with another identical 8GB kit. (which I'm sure is the reason that a SINGLE stick was recommended for now, and if this was INTEL it would be fine but RYZEN again requires fast memory for some reason)
