So i started off trying to unlock my bios and I tried to save my bios on gpuz and my computer screen went black and my gpu wouldn't be recognize. Any help I didn't even allow me to save it it just went black.

Was looking at other forums but i did't go as far as others seemed and I'm new to this so I didn't understand everything properly.

Probably a good idea to fully research something before you go off and potentially ruin something expensive. Check to see if your GPU has a dual BIOS. If it does there should be a small switch on the top somewhere. You didnt list any specs, people cant guess what you own.

Also so when I look into the my computer systems my GPU isn't there so I'm guessing I'm running on Integrated graphics at this point. My Computer only has 1 pcie slot i tried using a usb to flash but the nv flash in dofs says this program can't be run in dofs

Sometimes these bios flashing/reflashing things need to run outside Windows. You might need to use your integrated graphics for a bit, until you can create a bootable USB with the bios you need on it. Then you boot to that, and run your recovery bios thing from it. The card can be in the computer while you use integrated graphics.

This is just general advice, I don't know if your card is recoverable or not. I can say at least you learned something from this. Mainly, don't undertake a procedure until after you have researched what your plan will be if there is a problem. Coming here to ask for help is not a plan, it's what people do when they have no plan.

2. If I just buy a new GPU will I be cool?

MERGED QUESTION
Question from BotRevan : "How to unbrick my GPU"

Hi, I bricked my msi gtx 660 yesterday after I tried to save my bios in GPUZ. I have tried booting with a usb I used resfus on it to make it a boot drive. I put my GPU bios on it and NVFLASH on it. My problem with it is when i try to boot into the drive. In the dos i typed NVFLASH.exe and I get this error that says this program cannot be run in dos mode.

GPU : Msi gtx 660 twin fozer III
CPU : FX 6300
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78mt-usb3
