Oh hi there. So Vega's launching, that's nice. I got a 1440p display, that's nice. I've only got $350 to spare. That's.....sorta nice. I also have the patience to wait for 3 months. Knowing how much performance new architectures bring for the same price, Vega is going to handle my 1440p games like a boss, and Volta will do the same. However, I don't expect the Volta cards to come in a just a few months. So here's the deal, do I sacrifice performance so I can use Shadowplay? I will be streaming and recording. Or do I get a Vega card and then get a separate recording app like Fraps. I have a 250GB SSD and a 2TB HDD.

AMD's cards have their own streaming thing don't they? At least as far as I've seen, those Relive drivers do.

Either way I'll point out it's not a good idea to count your chickens before they hatch. You're making a bunch of assumptions about tech items that aren't out. Who knows if the first models will be in your budget range? Who knows when the cards will actually be available to purchase, as in 'in stock'? Who knows if they will be better than what's out now and by how much?

If you can wait, there's no downside to waiting, that's the one thing beyond question.
