My i5 6600k runs at 70oC when playing most games (also at around 90% load).
Is this an ok temp
Idle is around 30-50 but haven't checked

Well, the EVO 212 does a good job. I'm cooling my 4690 (no k) and i didn't reach 55°C in gaming. Did you applied the pasted correctly? If you still have the paste, try pasting it again.

Cooler master hyper 212 evo with the included thermo paste
Should I upgrade as was planning to get a water cooler in about a year but can't upgrade now as have no space for one in my current case
