Okay guys after much research I've finally put together the parts I want to use for my newest build which will be mainly for gaming and video streaming/watching. First the parts I've already purchased:

CPU: Intel i7 7700k. $300 at my local Microcenter!!! Wooooo
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IX Hero. $200 it was a bundled deal with the CPU $30 off!!
Monitor: Dell S2716DG ‑ 27" LED Monitor. $500. This monitor had everything I wanted in regards to having it be a 27'' monitor with 1440p resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. Hopefully it's a good one lol

And for the parts I'm going to be purchasing.

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, 80+ GOLD 850W. $116 at Amazon. (Is this overkill??)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD. $169 at Amazon also
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. $48.33
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory. $109.99 @ newegg
Cooler: Corsair H100i v2. $105 at NCIX
Videocard: Asus GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition. $669 at Microcenter
Case: Not sure which one yet. I want a Jets theme for my computer setup so I want something with green LEDs.

What do you guys think??? Will everything work together?? Any insight at all?? I'm open to all critique. Thanks for any help or advice guys.

No video card so yes the PSU is major overkill . You can run 2X GTX 1080ti's on 850 watts.

very nice choice on the monitor :)

edit: i;d say go with a 650w g3 rather than the g2 . save yourself a few wasted $$ and perhaps get yourself a nice mouse and keyboard . don't forget your operating system .

It's funny because I went to Microcenter and wasn't planning on leaving with a monitor but they just so happened to have everything I was looking for which was it being 27''/1440p/144Hz so I had to grab it. I've yet to hook it up and use it I'm just waiting for my other parts to come in tomorrow then I will start the build!
