Hey everybody,

Connected to a FiOs router I have a TP Link TL-SG1008P Switch that connected to it is a Ubiquiti AC PRO Access Point, Now, I noticed that when some of the devices that uses the AP Wifi such as my phone and ipad, gets away and come back to reconnect to the PRO, it tells me that it has Failed to obtain an IP Address. Now, I do have a firestick connected to it but it seems to work since *technically* the stick is always on so is always connected.

How can I fix this problem to be able to assign an ip and be able to reconnect these devices with no problems

***My regular Wifi coming from the router seems to be working normally.

Thank you in advance.
Gabriel

I have a desktop (From where I am typing this) that is connected to the router directly and has no problems at all, it seems that the problem only applies to devices connecting to the AC PRO wireless. If I connect to the routers wifi, it connects the devices such as my phone with no problems at all. Its only when connecting to the AP wifi.

so when the ubuiti unifi controller software starts do you " launch a browser to manage the network " .
then you have to add a site top right hand side of the dashboard , then click on devices on left side , you should see the ap and have to adopt it

Yes all that is done already, the AP currently shows connected with an ip address, I pinged the IP and succeeded and when I got to the network setting of the AP the ip config shows "using DHCP" selected.
