So I recently thought my in-game lag was due to my poor internet service, utilizing WiFi instead of cable which is always a bad decision (but I had no choice). I recently upgraded my system to CAT7 Ethernet, but the lag still persisted.
Now, I know its not spec related, because I'm running League of Legends on "Very Low" settings, and always used to work on "Very High" settings before. My system has two ATI Radeon HD 5700's in Crossfire mode. It used to run Titanfall great even.
Although, anytime I start a game lately, it has an almost exactly consistent lag pattern. It runs at the frame rate cap for about 4 seconds, then stalls the whole screen for 1 second (FPS decreases to like 5), and repeats.
Any ideas or suggestions? Because I'm not a graphics expert, and I'm just kind of confused.
