I've noticed since a couple days ago that the clock and date on my laptop keeps jumping ahead and suddenly the computer hangs and nothing responds..i have to force restart the computer..
i restarted and it shows the wrong date and time again and i have to hurry and change the date and clock settings so that the computer doesn't hang again...
It doesn't happen all the time but Sometimes when i turn on the laptop i see the wrong date and time again and i have to set it to automatically sync with the internet clock again..
why is it doing this? i read that it could be the CMOS battery but it doesn't say anything about your computer hanging when the clock and date changes...has this happened to anybody else before?
