need help installing graphics card and psu

i was given an old computer and i wanted to play some games on it. i had some idea about what i want but unsure if its all compatible. Im new to this and appreciate any suggestions

Yea, you may need a new power supply but you meet the minimum requirements according to NVIDIA. The graphics card you selected is a great option but the power supply isn't one of EVGA's better models. I would recommend this one and you should be all set. https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-BRONZE-Warranty-Tester-100-B1-0450-K1/dp/B01F5LX55K The EVGA B1 series is a better build quality and 450W is plenty for your setup.

Do you know if the power supply has the correct wires, that was another thing that was giving me concerns.

I replaced the psu and put in the graphics card. computer turned on fine but nothing was coming up on the monitor except for a "press esc for boot menu". Which i tried to do but it wasnt going anywhere. the computer also would beep once about every 10 seconds. So idk if something is not compatible or if i did something wrong
