Hi all,
So I came home the other evening to a PC that appeared to be in sleep mode. After failing to "wake" it, I decided to do a force shutdown, but when I pressed the power button on my case, it immediately shut off. That's not a great sign.
When I boot it up, it gives me an AO code, but I don't get to any BIOS post, and I can't get to the OS. I thought my ASUS ROG Maximus IX failed, so I bought a new motherboard to test it. I just finished swapping out the motherboard for a brand new one, and I"m getting the exact same issue. All the fans and leds power up, so I don't think it's a power supply problem.
A brand new motherboard should have fixed this. Did my i7 7700k just die? Or do you think it's a memory problem?
