If you already have freesync, you might as well take advantage of that by getting the RX580.
Not to mention the 1060 3Gb Vs. the RX 580 is not an apples to apples comparison as the 3Gb variant is weaker than the 6 Gb variant of the 1060. So between those two, hands down the 580.
Basically i want to play rust, cs:go. gtav and space engineers. My current setup is Intel 4460@3.2, 8gb ram, gtx 960 and the AOCG2460PF 24 inch 144 Hz monitor. i have around 200 pounds for improvements. is the rx580 overkill or will it fit my system nicely or should i get a smaller 480 and upgrade my ram to 16gb?
