Please help, I am having a little bit of confusion regardin chassis compatibility.. I have a Asus A68 HM-K motherboard -- it has usb 2.0 header but lacks of 3.0 header... on the otherhand i have wanted to change a chassis to silverstone redline 06 pro which has a usb 3.0 and 2.0 front panel... now my question is can i use the case as well as the usb 2.0 even without the use of 3.0 of the case itself... hope you help me guys ... thanks in advance

Yes. You have two options to do with your Motherboard + Case situation:

OPTION 1:
As you have described, just plug the 2x USB2.0 ports (one 9-pin cable) of your case into an available USB2.0 header of your motherboard and leave the 2x USB3.0 ports (one 19-pin cable) unplugged...

Yes. You have two options to do with your Motherboard + Case situation:

OPTION 1:
As you have described, just plug the 2x USB2.0 ports (one 9-pin cable) of your case into an available USB2.0 header of your motherboard and leave the 2x USB3.0 ports (one 19-pin cable) unplugged. This setup means that you can only use the 2x USB2.0 ports of your case and not the other 2x USB3.0 ports.

OPTION 2:
Since your Asus A68 HM-K has 2x USB2.0 headers (supports up to 4x USB2.0 ports), you can plug your case's 4x USB ports (2x USB2.0 and 2x USB3.0) into those headers. For the 2x USB2.0 ports, just plug in in one USB2.0 header as described in Option 1 above. For the 2x USB3.0 ports, you can buy a USB3.0(19-pin)-to-USB2.0(9-pin) internal header adapter cable such as this:

https://www.amazon.com/19-Pin-USB3-0-Adapter-Header-Cable/dp/B01CJWBY3I

Plug the case's 19-pin USB3.0 cable (connecting the 2x USB3.0 ports) into the adapter above and plug the adapter's 9-pin USB2.0 connector to the other USB2.0 header of your motherboard. This setup means you can use all of the 4x USB ports of your case - but all will be running in USB2.0 speeds.
