I'm thinking what should I buy , I have a regular earphone that came from my phone I'm thinking if I should just buy a splitter to use both Mic and Audio in my PC or buy a new headphones.

My question is what is better to have when audio setup in gaming an earbud headphones or headsets?

Solution
I don't have anything note worthy. I used to have a Corsair headset, but they broke after a month or two. The RMA lasted about the same and I just gave up on Corsair headsets. One of the best sounding headsets I had came from Radioshack. They were ~$25 and sounded good, though uncomfortable after an hour or two. I'm currently using a cheap set I got off of amazon and so far they are working well. I like this set because my big issue with headphones is the inline volume control. Basically they keep breaking on me. So far it's holding up well so I'm happy with them.

Yep it's hard to choose between the two, my earbuds have a combo of mic/audio :)

depends on what you're looking for.

over the ear or on ear headphones tend to be more comfortable than 'earbud' style headphones. of course there are 'canalphones" and "in ear monitor" style in ear headphones as well which tend to be more comfortable than earbud style.

Full-size circumaural headphones that completely surround your ears are likely to offer better audio quality than a pair of earbuds, since they're able to use larger speakers, and can potentially block outside sounds better. Depending on the model, they might become less comfortable over time though, as they can get bit warm and may press on the sides of one's head.

For long term gaming use (meaning gaming for hours.) I have to use headphones. A good comfy pair is hard to beat. For me not only are they more comfortable, but they sound better than any pair of earbuds I've used. I use earbuds only when I'm traveling because they are more portable.

Hmm, do you have any recommendation of an headphone which cost $70 and below with a good mic quality? :D

as far as audio quality is concerned, both in ear and over hear designs can be equal. driver size is irrelevant in the case of canalphones or iems (note: not considering earbuds here) as they seal in your ear canal and the space they need to fill with sound is much smaller so they can sound just as good, full and "large" as normal headphones.

if you wanted headphones only, i'd suggest the hd518. you can get a cheap clip on mic if you wanted. perhaps the moovmic?

want a 'headset'? perhaps the hyper x cloud core.
