i5 7600k vs Ryzen 5 1600

Hello everyone,
I thought about building my pc. I have a budget of about 1200€, here are the details about each build.

Ryzen 5 1600

I'm planning to overclock either of these builds.
I will use this PC for mostly gaming and streaming.

Which CPU is the better choice?

Also, if you have any tips for each build disregarding the cpu, those are very much appreciated as well :)

I'll give my vote to the Ryzen build on the condition that a better PSU is specified. For the same money you can have an EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650 and for about $30 less you can have a Seasonic S12II 620, both of which are far superior.

The nex power supply in the ryzen build is garbage. You could also save several dollars on the motherboard if you want to. Even b350 boards will allow a max oc.


I'd suggest the 1600 especially if streaming, but either should be a solid build

i vote for RYZEN 5 1600. because Ryzen 5 1600 is equal to i7 5th or 6th gen. Ryen 5 1600 is 30% cooler , 30% faster , 30% quite compare to i5 7600.

u will get high fps in ryzen 5 1600 campare to i5 7600.
