I already created a thread on this, but It didnt recieve any helpful replies, so here goes the story again

I cannot check my CPU fan speed no matter what, I just need an external programm to control it. Not my bios, I installed SF, which doesnt tell me my cpu fan speed, nor can I manually set it like my GPU. I installed MSI afterburner, which crashes my PC, it just freezes after I leave it open for around a few minutes and I really do not have any other way.

The temps are 80 degrees under load while gaming and around 50 when idle. Im using a CM 212x

They were alot lower a few days ago, I live in spain an arid country, perhaps its the room temps?

My cpu is the 7700 non K version

Im using an i7 7700 non k
RX 480
B250 Krait
3 fans, 1 top, 1 behind my chassis and one intake front
Cooler master 212x with 1 fan
2x8gb of ddr4 2400 corsair ram
samsung evo 850 250gb ssd
wd caviar blue 1tb 7200rpm hd
a CX550M from corsair
NZXT S340

And yes, I double checked that the labled cpu fan is plugged into cpu fan, and not just into system fan on my motherboard

I see got it installed and it allows me to control it, I will try a 10 minutes short match on a CPU intensive game and see if it changed anything, if not what do you recommend me to set the manual settings? Im using 35 - 50% fan speed on my gpu

Turn the fans up to whatever keeps the temps down.
Happy gaming

Thanks for the tip, I guess I should have downloaded the drivers when I built this rig in february haha xD Temps didnt exceed 71 degrees, nothing to be worried about if im not mistaken. GPU 50% fan speed 70 degrees. A few weeks ago it was 45% and 65 degrees but Im going to assume that that is the ambient temperature of spain.

There's another good programe for that board on that site called Live update 6 . The program basically check all the drivers for the board and the bios and can update without going into bios .

I see thanks for the assistance, just asking outta curiosity, but is it the ambient temps causing this heat?

If ambient temp is high it will definitely contribute to higher temps.
Do you have a good cooler on the cpu? Is it fitted well ? Is your system is clean (dust free) ? These are also factors

Its like cars they reach higher temps in summer months .Basically the same but you cant game on a car.
