Well, as the titles says I want to upgrade my computer but I'm not sure which CPU to buy. My GPU is a gtx 1500ti.

if you buy a b250 mobo you can use a kaby lake i5 7400 without any bios update

I heard that I would need to update the motherboard first to use a 7th generation and I don't have any other CPU to do that.
