Powerful and Longest Range Laptop Wireless Card

My room is the farthest way in the house. And to get the fastest connection, I got to sit in the living room. I do not want to go this. I want to be at my desk in my room. So, my laptop is a HP Probook 440 G1 and supports changing the wireless card. So I want a VERY powerful and LONG ranged wireless card. Any suggestions. My price limit is cut off at 40 dollars, but I will go slightly over if the card is worth it.

You won't see any significant differences. It isn't the card that would have to change, it is the antenna(s). Instead of wasting money on WIFI, buy a set of powerline network adapters and get as close to a wired connection as possible.
