New graphics card wont work

I got a Geforce GT710 and plugged everything in, i have windows 7, when i start my computer up, it goes to the start up page where it says "Press the ESC key for startup menu", when i press esc nothing happens. Then it stars beeping 3 times, 25 seconds in between each beep, then 3 quick beeps and my monitor goes to sleep

You see the startup screen makes me think something else is going on. The error that you are getting is to replace the HDD. It could be a bad port on the mother board or you left it unplugged. When you boot try entering into bios and look for your HD. If its not there open your system and make sure both the sata from the motherboard and the power from the power supply is plugged in correctly.

Depending on the bios tho could be a detect video issue which youshould try to reseat the card. To reseat pull out of the slot the put it back in. Unlikly the as you see the start screen.

Ok so i found i can go to the start up menu but thats it, i press esc as its coming up and it will go to the start up, but i cant bring anything else up like F10, F2, etc

Only one spot for the card to go, removed one RAM and tried it again, nothing
