Hello everyone

I built my PC on Wednesday and went ahead and played some overwatch the day after, overwatch was standard set on the highest preset with literally everything maxed out and it ran everything without any problem, mid game my pc suddenly shut off and wouldn't turn on until i switched the PSU on and off and pressed the start up button.

hopped back into my game since it was a competitive game but again it crashed and shut off but wouldnt turn on anymore no matter what, i thought it was the PSU so i put in a old psu (it didnt even have a 8pin CPU connector nor Graphics card connectors) but still wouldnt turn on, then i took out the Graphics card, and put back in my actual PSU and it turned on like nothing ever happened, so my thought is: The GPU is dead

Its a Gigabyte GTX 780 which i bought over from someone i know (thus it was not a new gpu) the temperature of the GPU was 81 degrees C during my gaming session.

Did overwatch kill my graphics card?

Thanks in advance

Solution
if the board won't even power on than its the PSU or motherboard. I don't think Overwatch has anything to do with it. 81C is warm, but far from fatal. Even without a video card the computer should start up, fans should run, etc. Not that you could see anything on the screen without a video card...
