is graphics card important for 4k video watching??

i am not a game lover bt watch a lot of 4k videos.is graphics card like (gtx1050ti /rx460) important for 4k video watching?? will it improve my video watching experience??
my system hardware is bello:
dell 60hz, 1080p ips monitor.
i5 7500.
asus prime b250 board
8gb ddr4 2400 ram
corsair le 240 gb ssd.

Yes and no. It's important if you are trying to play something that needs HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, HEVC 265 decoding and your built in GPU doesn't support any of those.

If it does, than it doesn't matter. My $40 Android box can decode 10bit HEVC 60FPS 4K video.

But you have a 1080p monitor. 4k videos are rendered down to 1080p when your resolution is 1920x1080. They may be sharper than original 1080p but still your resolution is the same. For this instance, it seems your board's chipset is pretty much sufficient for full hd.
