1) Computer freezes, SSD disappears from BIOS upon reboot AND 2) Constant disk write errors in Steam. Error ID 154 in Event Vi

**What is your parts list?
ASUS H87M-E MotherBoard
i5 4670 @ 3.40 Ghz
Gigabyte GTX 1060
ADATA SU800 256 GB SSD (Win10 Pro installed)
Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM010 1TB HDD (Steam installed here)

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.
1) From time to time the computer will freeze. Ctrl+Alt+Delete won't work. Forced to Reboot. SSD won't appear in BIOS.
2) Steam is unable to download any games, constant Disk Write Errors. These correspond with Error ID 154 in Event Viewer.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
1) Both disks pass all SMART checks and CrystalDiskInfo says they are 100% Good. Both were purchased in the last six months.
2) Updated BIOS. Cleared CRT RAM. Replaced SATA cables, making sure all connections are tight.
3) Re-formatted with a fresh Windows 10 Pro install.
4) Made sure the Steam folders have appropriate Admin access. Have tried everything Steam recommends with regards to Disk Write Errors.

Provide any additional details you wish below.
I really am at wit's end as to what else to do. I might try downgrading to Windows 7. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
