So when playing any game for >15 minutes my gtx 1080 fans quickly go to 100% and then the display is lost. The card then flashes a white LED.

The PC remains on but no signal is reaching the screen.

I'm not sure what to do, i contacted gigabyte (my card manufacturer) and they haven't been helpful.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the card is overheating. Have you ever overclocked the card, and if so, what voltages and clock speeds are you running at? Sounds like a cooling and usage problem to me, and usually with these problems, RMA is your best bet.

Could you also look up what flashing white LED lights indicate for your specific GPU? Since you didn't tell us what it was, we can't look it up ourselves...

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers from their official website? If not, please try that, and report back with some results. Thank you!
