Hi..
I have two choices and i have been confused for so long between gtx 1060 3gb and rx 470 asus strix rog. I have seen many benchmarks gtx 1060 3gb winning almost all benchmarks over rx 470 but i have 2x6pin power supply which can support only 6 pin graphic cards so gtx 1060 armor oc 3g can't be compatible with my rig because that requires 8pin so i have another choice of gtx 1060 gigabyte mini itx oc 3g version or zotac mini gtx 1060 3gb which have 6 pin connector and i think that card is mini its hard to overclock that i guess and it will get heatup soon another choice is rx 470 asus as i had a bad experience of amd recently bought amd hd 7870 club 3d it left display just after 3 days of buying so money got wasted so kindly suggest me the best graphic card gtx 1060 mini itx oc gigabyte or rx 470 asus strix in terms of performance, overclocking ability and non heating issue. I want to play watch dogs 2 on very high to ultra without lagging and just cause 3 on very high..

Well, there are a couple of things to think about. One, a 470 is a 470, a 1060 is a 1060. Meaning that pretty much all 1060s, mini or full size, are the same. It's not like there are super awesome 1060s and 1060s that are terrible performers. In the end you will wind up with the same basic level of performance.

The other thing is overclocking. Even if you can successfully overclock a card, it won't change it's basic level of performance. You aren't going to overclock a 1060 to 1070 levels of performance. Let's say you have a 1060 that gives you 60fps in a game, and another 1060 that is overclocked gives you 65fps in that game. So what? It's still the same level of performance. Unless you like to overclock for the sake of...

Unless you like to overclock for the sake of experimentation or learning how, it shouldn't affect your purchasing decision.

Lastly, if you know which games you want to play, then those are the benchmarks that matter. It doesn't really matter which card is best at GTA V if that's not a game you will be playing. For Watch Dogs 2 you probably want the 1060.

Actually Gtx 1060 gigabyte mini itx oc is a small card comparitively other vendors like gtx 1060 asus rog strix, msi gtx 1060 armor oc or g1 gaming and zotac amp edition tbey are big card with big heatsink and i guess 2 fans but unfortunately gtx 1060 mini gigabyte itx oc 3g has one fan so it can i overclock that gtx 1060 mini gigabyte itx oc ? or i should go for rx 470 due its 4gb vram and i can get in asus which if i overclock it will be stable but i am not a big fan of amd as i have heard temperature issues in amd and card leave display at some points.
